Join us for Night Tennis
Croydon Tennis Club is affiliated with the Lilydale & District Night Tennis Association and holds night tennis at its courts from Monday to Thursday.
Competition commences at approximately 7.15pm and is usually finished by 10pm. The cost is $10 per person per night, plus a team entry fee of $30 is payable before the start of each season.
As of October 2023, all players representing Croydon Tennis Club must be a member of our club.
We’ve created a low-cost membership for patrons who don’t need the benefits of a full membership and who just play night tennis for Croydon Tennis Club.
This membership is just $50 per annum and allows you to play night tennis and represent our club. This low-cost membership is a small way to contribute to the clubs running costs like electricity, lease, insurance, maintenance and cleaning etc.
Please note: This membership does not enable patrons to utilise the club outside Night Tennis participation. To book courts for free, patrons require a full membership.
Our membership year runs from 1 October to 30th September.
Night Tennis is a great way to keep fit and meet other people at the same time and is available for all standards. Teams are made up of 4 players.
There are 3 seasons in a year, with no matches scheduled during school holidays and plenty of sections to cater for all standards.
Monday night is ladies' doubles,
Tuesday night is mens doubles,
Wednesday night is mixed doubles and Thursday Night is Open Sets Doubles (teams of any combination of men and/or women) and Singles/Doubles.
Entering a team of 4-6 friends is a great way to start. We also require players to join teams or fill in as emergencies throughout the playing season.
