Croydon Tennis Club Charter
- The Croydon Tennis Club is a 'members' club effectively run and managed by its current committee on behalf of its membership on a not for profit basis.
- Established to provide low-cost recreational facilities, it currently promotes tennis and related events.
- The tennis club sets out to provide affordable tennis for most ages and all abilities. It is particularly keen to encourage tennis for juniors.
- To provide a landline phone for emergency reasons and the necessary emergency numbers.
- To provide a communications link through an up-to-date web site.
- The Club is affiliated with Eastern Region, Waverley District Association, Ferntree Gully (FTG) Association, MEMRLTA Midweek ladies, and Lilydale Night Tennis Association and supports the 'good practice' guidelines and advice of Tennis Australia and all other affiliates.
- Ensure that all players receive equitable status and treatment.
- Provide a safe playing environment, as far as it is practicable, e.g. well-maintained courts and fencing.
- Provide a safe working environment for contractors and volunteers.
- Provide shelter in poor weather conditions.
- Provide a well-stocked First Aid kit for the use of members and visitors.
