Coaching with Grant Kendall
Croydon Tennis Club is very pleased to have Grant Kendall as its coach.
Grant is well known and acknowledged for his very successful coaching techniques for all ages, and particularly with younger aged children.
On Monday afternoon Grant holds a competition round robin at the Club, which is a great opportunity for players to get used to the court surface, learn to score and to serve unassisted. This is followed by a BBQ and drinks.
A number of Grant’s students play competition junior tennis at Croydon Tennis Club on Saturday mornings, and one of the girls’ teams won the grand final in their first season, whilst the others reached the finals. This was a great achievement for all teams and is a testament to Grant’s coaching and training.
Grant’s coaching qualifications include TCA advanced, level 3 USPTR and he has also completed Canada’s Elite PBI course. As a player he has competed internationally and locally at a high level, and currently plays Grade 2 VTA pennant. Grant has over 20 years coaching experience in tennis clubs in Melbourne and internationally.
